This 8th grade project focuses on helping the community understand digital and AI literacy. It addresses the growing problem of fake information and how hard it can be to tell if a website is trustworthy. By teaching people these skills, the project aims to make the internet a safer and clearer place for everyone. My former teacher, Mrs. Goliday, inspired the AI part of my project. She was named "AI Teacher of the Year" in 2025 and now works to help other teachers use AI. Through interviews with community members, the project identifies common misunderstandings and provides clear solutions to fix them. It shows how important it is to stay informed as technology keeps changing. The goal is to give people the tools they need to spot AI-generated content and verify what they read online. It turns a complex modern problem into an easy-to-follow guide for the neighborhood. This ensures that everyone can feel more confident when using digital tools and searching for facts.
